At “BluestoneSeminars” we spend most of our time addressing the two foundational levels of “The Bluestone Hierarchy of Wealth and Well-being”, MANAGING THE MONEY, and ACHIEVING GOALS. The top two tiers of the hierarchy, FULFILLMENT, and SECURITY AND BELONGING, get short order. In other words, we spend more time talking about wealth than well-being. And that is probably as it should be.
Since we achieved our CAPP certification this past winter (Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology – the science of human flourishing) we’ve been thinking about starting something to complement “BluestoneSeminars” and open up more time for talking about well-being. There is so much wonderful research and discovery going on in the world of psychology, religion & spiritually, and science; it would be wonderful to have conversations about it.
We’re thinking about starting a quarterly luncheon where well-being will be the subject of conversation around the table. We imagine a small group of less than twenty. Perhaps we would call it the “BluestoneTable”.
Going forward, wealth will be the main subject at BluestoneSeminars and well-being will be the main subject at the BluestoneTable, with some overlap at both.
What do you think? Should we pursue this? Would it be of interest to you? How we develop our services at BluestoneFinancial is about serving you, so your opinion matters.
